RELATIONSHIPS

Take a look at your relationships, past and present...........what do they say about you?
Some of my biggest life lessons have come from people I have attracted in my life, due to my insecurities, self loathing, lack of self worth, etc. They were some of the hardest times of my life and when I look back at them, I can see my part, my beliefs of myself and I know why they were a part of my life.
I now know how to look at people that are around me, or that I have allowed in my life and see their negativity, ugliness, hatred and realize I can't fix them and that if I allow them to play an important part in my life, my life will begin to crumble, for they are a warning, an alarm clock of where my self thinking meter is at. Probably a good time to start forgiving myself, taking care of myself and loving myself. Once I do, these people begin to fall away.
However, I also realize that there are MANY people in my life that are there because I truly do believe in good. I believe in love and the power it holds. I strive to be compassionate, trust-worthy, loving and giving. When I stay aligned in these thoughts, these are the people that I find in my life with me.
These are the people I am grateful are in my life and I continue to cultivate and love them as well as myself.
So take time to look at who is in your life and who isn't, realize the struggles that you have endured and what the relationships provided you. Reflect on your thoughts, if they were ones of self-destruction........which relationships stayed to continue to fuel the self-destruction? Probably the ones that were self-destructing themselves. When they were good and loving, who was there giving that back???? Be sure to keep those in your circle by keeping your thoughts in the positive.
