FAMILY
Family...............the people in your life you don't get to pick, they just are! No matter what kind of hell I have put them through or they have pulled me through, I couldn't ask for a better bunch of people to call my family.
There are times when we don't talk for weeks, don't see each other for months and then something, whether it be a holiday, death or party once again we come together and it is as though there hasn't been any time lapse between us.
I am thankful for my two sisters and my brother (but probably not as thankful as they are-----I am THE most special out of the four of us). When the four of us get together we are usually exchanging smart ass comments, laughing and just enjoying our time together. The bond comes from growing up together, trying to survive as young kids, teens, and eventually moving away from each other. But together we form a bond to deal with our parents, life, love and each other. Oh, how I hated them all, yet all along loving them with all my heart. I remember often wishing I was an only child. Now as an adult I realize how blessed I am to have them and wouldn't change it for the world.
Then we all move and begin our own families and new people move in, spouse, in-laws, children. Your children have friends, boyfriend/girlfriends and you are once again blessed with another family. There isn't anything I wouldn't do for them.
I have a bestest friend that reminds me all the time that family is everything in this world. #1 priority Aimee.......you are such a smart woman. I love you as my sister. ANOTHER important part of my family.
Had to share!!
